Marinade

I love marinating pork, steak and chicken. I have learned that an easy way to do this in a bag so that you don't have to touch it and re open it each time you add something. Stick the bag in a medium to large size plastic container. It helps keep the bag open and in place. Then when you are all done adding ingredients and meat you should wash hands, seal it and then nothing gets contaminated. Give a try the next time you marinate your meat. I guarantee you will do it this way from now on. Here are the ingredients for this marinade. I love pork tenderloin and this one happens to be a favorite of the entire family.

Ingredients

4-5 garlic cloves minced
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoon olive oil

Check out the whole pork recipe here.

  1. I do, too, love to do marinating in a plastic bag. It save space in the refrigerator and I don't have to flip my meat, which can be messy :)

  2. Fantastic tip and recipe, Andrea. It's so easy to marinate meat in the bag. I love leaving overnight too since the wonderfulness seeps into the meat like magic, lol. Great recipe too. I use a pretty similar but basic marinate to use on whole chickens but not soak, if you know what I mean.

  3. Your absolutely right. The best way by a long shot. Only problem is whenever I need to marinate, I NEVER have any of these bags handy and have to use a big bowl. Just can't seem to remember to put them on my shopping list, nice big ones too. Thanks for the reminder!

  5. Ok, this was an absolute winner in my house tonite! I used this on boneless pork chop steaks, and seared them on my cast iron skillet, they were absolutely juicy and so flavorful.

    Thank you!!!
