Lazy Lasagna

I found this recipe on pinterest. I have been dealing with Vertigo for the last 3-4 weeks and just haven't had the urge to cook. I have of course been cooking because I have a family of four to feed but I have been cooking things I know well so I don't have to think to much about it. I saw this recipe and it looked so good and easy so I decided to give it a try. Sometimes I just hate trying new recipes because looks can be deceiving. I hate spending money on all these ingredients and it comes out bland. I got this recipe from a blog I see a lot on Pinterest, Plain Chicken. She has lots of great looking dishes. She calls it Sour Cream Noodle Bake. I thought it taste a lot like lasagna without all the work and expense (hence the new name I gave it). I was so pleased it turned out great and my husband devoured it. I changed a few of the ingredients from hers. I used kosher salt, oregano, minced garlic and added onion. I also doubled the amount of tomato sauce. I didn't have any cottage cheese so I only used sour cream. I think the next time I will add a little ricotta.

1 lb ground beef
1 8 oz bag of egg noodles
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp of oregano
3 cloves garlic minced
1/4 onion diced
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 cup sour cream
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese

Pre heat oven to 350 degrees

Boil water in large pot. While that is boiling Add ground beef to a large skillet and brown. While it is browning add chopped onion and minced garlic. Continue to cook until meat is cooked through. Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and oregano. Let this simmer while you boil the noodles. Once noodles are done drain and then add sour cream to the noodles and mix around. spray or butter 9x9 baking dish. add the noodles to the pan. Add the beef sauce on top of the noodles in an even layer. Add cheddar cheese on top and bake for 20-25 minutes.

We just loved this and hope that you love it also. Let me know what you think.
