Gingerbread Houses

Coolidge's house

Me and the boys make gingerbread houses every year. I usually get each of them their own house and I assist them with frosting and design. Last year Coolidge didn't need much help and at all and he insisted we each have our own home. I agreed and was amazed at their patience.
Brody's house
Usually I have to help Brody with just about everything but this year he was in charge of it all. I helped with icing but everything was placed by him. He ate more than he glued but that is part of the fun. These house are bought pre built every year because in the past it has been hard enough to keep them decorating and not just eating. However, this year they proved to me that they are up for the challenge so next year I will actually attempt to make the house from scratch.

my little house

When I opened my house it had a huge crack. I tried to repair it and it completely fell apart. So I showed the kids I do have some craftiness and made a little house out of graham crackers. It reminded me of the house me and my mom lived in and was a little hint to my husband.
